Global Nomad support

The GN support hours intend to make small and mid-size changes to your website. Changing content in an article, adding a weblog item or developing a new form on your webpage… It can all be done if you start using the support hours. Often those small changes to your website give visitors the impression your website is ALIVE. Automatically this leads to the fact they value your business more and more.

 When Global Nomad has developed your website, it is likely you have already purchased five or more support hours. Use them! They are valid for one year.

The benefits of support hours:

• Cheap
• Usable up to one year after purchase
• Can be used to modify or add items to your website
• Reduce the load of making changes to your website

How it works

• Send a request by email to support@itsglobalnomad.com. Your support request will be viewed. If you have enough support hours left Global Nomad will plan the changes you ask for.
• For each change we use at least 30 minutes. So you’d better combine some items if they are small!
• After completion you will receive an overview of your remaining support hours.

On the Qinghai-Tibetan-Plateau there is a huge need for computer experts to repair, install or fix computers in the countryside. In local towns as Zeku there are a few people than can repair computers – but they are very limited. There are often no parts and more complicated problems cannot be fixed. A person has to decide to go to the city or leave it till another time.

Therefore Global Nomad has developed the idea of launching a new IT service: The Global Nomad Bus.

Purpose and idea

The idea is to have The Global Nomad Bus with 2 or 3 local computer experts drive through Qinghai. As they carry computers parts and software, they will be able to fix and sell computers to people in remote places. In this way IT in rural settings will be less depended on repairs in the city. Because of the high altitude in Qinghai, computers break down quicker and the need for repairs is more frequent.

We envision a permanent staff of about 5 people. From them 4 will be operational on the bus and the fifth will be in the city as service manager. On each trip we want to bring along 3 more people to explore.

If going will, Global Nomad might establish local stores in the different counties. The Global Nomad Truck will help to research where to go.
