Residence permit granted to Global Nomad Managing Director
November 21, 2011 by Bert Verbeeke
Global Nomad managing director Bert Verbeeke was granted a work-permit last week. This piece of formality is necessary for a foreigner to work in China. As of yesterday a residence permit was given so Bert and his family can live in Zeku.
The Chinese regulations on foreign owned enterprises are written down in national law. But the fact is that there are always possibilities for the different government offices to come up with more paperwork. And because of the remoteness of the Global Nomad office we are not always notified about some new or changed regulations in the past year. Therefore we are even more thankful for the cooperation of the different Chinese governmental offices to smoothly get the needed permissions for Global Nomad managing director to be able to stay on and fulfill its duties.
This is also a good sign for our customers too. This kind of permit is only given to professional businesses / foreign workers in china. For our local staff its an encouragement to know Global Nomad as business is doing great in serving domestic and international customers well. We will soon publish our year report on our website.
