Managing Director
The right candidate should have an outgoing, friendly personality, excellent communication skills, and have good Chinese language skills. The location for the director is preferable at the Global Nomad premises in Zeku but can be on a different location in Qinghai as well.
JOB TITLE:
- Managing Director
JOB DETAILS:
- You will maintain and improve Global Nomad as a business by setting out strategy and plans
- Ultimate responsibility for the well-being of the business doesn’t scare you off but your approach would be to serve local staff in their duties
- You are both practical and a vision caster, so you don’t have problems with hands-on work in the office from time to time
- Since communication is one of your strong points you like to expand Global Nomad’s professional network
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You have knowledge of finances for part of your function will be acting as financial controller
- You have affinity with information technology and web development
- You are fluent in English writing and speaking
- You have good Chinese communication skills and preferably (Amdo)Tibetan
- You are a people person and like to chat and hang-out with employees
WORKING TIME AND LOCATION:
- 20 - 30 hours per week during regular working hours
- Based in Qinghai
- Often work from home with occasional travel
- Regular contact with the Global Nomad office in Zeku is required
